DESCRIPTION
As part of an interior build-out of their existing 5th floor headquarters,Captive Resources was looking to raise the bar on their existing video production from both a scenic and technical production perspective within a limited budget and aggressive construction schedule. Most critical, they needed a scenic environment that spoke to their brand that provided flexibility for the multiple video set-ups and talent configurations they were hoping to shoot for their clients. To answer these project challenges, Provost Studio partnered with CenterStage to provide a turn-key broadcast design/build solution which included a new studio and control room build-out. In addition, the team provided base-building broadcast infrastructure recommendations and support to the project architecture and engineering teams and general contractor. Provost delivered a design solution that provided a compact, flexible 2-wall set with tracking scenic walls allowing a completely different look for their production needs. The tracking panels are internally lit with color changing LED and custom CNC routed with a pattern specifically related to their brand logo mark. There is also a large light box with a graphic that can be redesigned and swapped out in the future. The main interview desk was also designed to be easily moved in the space and all furniture can be reconfigured depending on what talent configuration is needed.
