The project consisted of transforming the 350-seat auditorium, lower level hall and main entry lobby space in the New York Times Building for the two-day Schools for Tomorrow Live Conference. The Conference brought together 400 of the most influential leaders in teaching, government, philanthropy and industry.  

The design challenge was to create an ensemble of environments which aligned with the New York Times media brand and collectively framed the conference's annual theme.

MILK-BONE Tradeshow Environment

New 20’x20’ traveling trade show booth for a product launch for Milk-Bone Brushing Chews.  The concept for the booth was to emphasize the patented unique physical features of the brushing chew design namely its “twist”and bumps. In response to this concept, the booth uses twisting planes and folds that relate to the brushing chew “twist”. In the center of the booth, large graphic panels display product images and research data. On one of the main booth corners, a pedestal rises from the floor to hold a 5’ over sized brushing chew model.

The booth featured two main transaction counters, where product experts educated visitors on product features and benefits. In addition, booth featured product packaging display areas, product print collateral display, integrated video monitor and product storage.

NYT - Dealbook Conference

Environmental graphics, interior design and event design services for the first and second annual “Dealbook” Conference hosted by the New York Times focused on emerging financial world economies.  

The project consisted of transforming the 350-seat auditorium, lower level hall and main entry lobby space in the New York Times Building for the one-day event. The Conference brought together 400+ guests which consisted of government officials, energy companies, environmental groups and NGOs, and investors.

BocaFlasher Branded Tradeshow Exhibit

The project was to design and fabricate a new tradeshow environment for Boca Flasher, a manufacturer of LED lighting components and systems which is used in a wide range of architectural applications.   

The objectives of the project were to create an engaging visitor experience within a 10’x10’ booth; demonstrate the design potential of new LED products; provide product and print collateral storage; and most importantly accommodate plan layout flexibility for different booth reconfiguration. The booth was conceived of as a dynamic carved “box of light” and constructed from a “kit of parts” allowing reconfiguration of material panels and light fixtures that respond to different exhibit hall locations and customer circulation flows.
